Volunteers are the foundation of Le Bois De Grammont.
Instead of being a spectator of the organic revival, join the fun, and we'll put you to work
Come for an hour, a day, a week or two, or on a regular basis with or without prior skills, but with an eagerness to work.
An extra pair of hands is always appreciated. Projects are seasonal and may include: harvesting, making compost,
collecting and stacking hay, gardening, weeding, mowing, food preservation, cheese making, butchery and sausage making, stacking firewood, etc.
Or contact us if you have any special talents to share. In any case, be dressed to get dirty.
If you are interested in volunteering and whish to stay at le bois please apply before arriving, as accommodation is limited.
During warmer months camping is the order of the day for volunteers but during colder months we house volunteers.
We do have conditions for applicants who volunteer in exchange for accommodation and food. Please contact us for details.

This year we are hoping to get some specific projects finished to help improve conditions for our stock and our volunteers.
We will be carrying out some building projects using tyres, we are hoping to get at least three new pigsty's built out in the fields.
We are also renovating the old pigsties next to the house for use as volunteer accommodation, a new kitchen a prep room, and a potting shed. We are using glass bottles to build some of the internal walls and exterior windows.
